to you. These donations come through my participation in “ACE” which
stands for Agents for Community Enhancement, a program dedicated to
supporting local not-for-profit organizations without eroding their
traditional funding sources.
ACE maintains a philosophy of giving back to the community – not just
on an occasional basis but continually and substantially. It
represents a full-time commitment to philanthropy that is unique
whereby a participant, (me as your real estate agent) sets aside a
specific portion of my net income from every transaction and offers
the client an opportunity to direct specifically where is to be given
locally.Let’s face it, not for profit groups truly |
make a difference in the quality of life in our communities. They
contribute to a higher level of cultural diversity across every income
level that only adds to our region’s rich heritage and attractiveness.
Whether you are a buyer or seller, it is your chance to support your
favorite local charity or community organization without costing you
anything. For a not-for-profit, it is an opportunity to receive
significant funding without impacting the usual income stream at a
time when conventional sources are becoming elusive. Acceptable
groups include local historic, arts & outreach programs, religious
congregations, shelters, schools and such. Participation may be
passive or as a partnership involving cross-promotion. There is no
limit as to the number of participants or total donations possible. |
